Juba League leader hacked dead in Comilla

Comilla Correspondent: A local leader of Juba Leageue, front organisation of ruling Awami League (AL), was hacked to death by miscreants at municipal area of district's Daudkandi upazila on Saturday noon.

The deceased was identified as Amir Hossain Rajon, 35, son of Dulal Munshi of Kazirkona village.

He was former organising secretary of the upazila Chhatra League, student wing of Awami League, and member of Juba League convenor committee.

Confirming the news, Mizanur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Daudkandi Police Station, said Rajon might have been killed over previous enmity over land dispute.

He, however, was accused in 11 cases, the OC added.
