Lightning kills 2 in Kushtia

Kushtia Correspondent: Two people were killed by lightning at Maharajpur area of Mokarimpur union under in Bheramara upazila in Kushtia yesterday.
The deceased were known as Rumi Khatun, 35, wife of Jahurul Islam and Ratul, 16, son of Tutul Ali.
Locals said that the two victims went to mango orchard to collect mangos during nor’wester around 9:00pm on Monday. Meanwhile, a lightning struck them, leaving the victim critically injured.
Later, they were taken to Bheramara Upazila Hospital where doctor declared them dead.
