Lightning kills 3 farmers in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: Three farmers were killed in lightning strikes in Sujanagar upazila of Pabna.
The deceased were identified as Dulal Hossain, 40, son of Muktar Sheikh; Abdul Alim, 32, son of Abdul Aziz Mollah and Loimuddin, 50, son of Motahar Ali. All of them hailed from Bikramaditya village in Manikhat union of the upazila.
Senior Assistant Police Super (Sujanagar circle) Forhad Hossain said lightning struck the three farmers while they were extracting onions from a field during a storm, leaving them dead on the spot.
Later, police rushed to the spot and recovered their bodies, he said.
