Man electrocuted in Satkhira

Satkhira Correspondent: A man died after being electrocuted at a fish enclosure at Khejurdangi village of Satkhira Sadar Upazila on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Khokon Sardar, 50, son of late Belayet Ali Sardar of Khejurdangi village.

Locals said Khokon was a staff of the fish enclosure. While he was going fishing, he came in contact with an electric wire on a dam and got injured seriously.

They rushed Khokon to Sathkhira Sadar hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.

Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Satkhira Sadar Police Station, confirmed the matter.
