Man gets life-term for killing elder brother in Ctg

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: A Chittagong court has sentenced a man to life-term imprisonment for killing his elder brother over a feud of sharing fishes of their pond.

Judge Nazrul Islam of the Second Additional District and Sessions Judge court passed the order on Tuesday noon.

The accused is currently confined in jail.

Advocate Sirajul Islam, Public Prosecutor (PP) of the court, said younger brother Motaher Hossain stabbed his elder brother Nurul Absar indiscriminately to death over sharing fishes of their pond on October 25, 2011.

Later, Nurul Absar's wife filed a murder case in this regard, he added.
