Man killed over land dispute in Khulna

Staff Correspondent, Khulna: An elderly man was killed allegedly by his cousin over a land- related feud at Fatekati village in Koira upazila on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Nazrul Islam, 60.
Koira Police Station Officer-in-Charge Tareque Biswas said Nazrul’s cousin Dabir Uddin beat him (Nazrul) up at one stage of altercation over ancestral land at around 9.00am, leaving him injured.
Nazrul died on way to Koira Upazila Health Complex.
The body was sent to Khulna Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
