Man-wife-daughter commit suicide in Munshiganj

Munshiganj Correspondent: A man along with his wife and daughter committed suicide at Shreedharpur village of the disctrict's Shreenagar upazila on Wednesday evening, police said.
The deceased were identified as fish trader Momin, 50, his wife Lubna Begum, 44, and their daughter Sanjida, 9.
According to locals, Momin along with his wife and daughter took poison to commit suicide. They died before they were taken to hospital.
Local UP member Md Iliyas said Momin was going through financial crisis. After drinking poison, they were rushed to hospital. But they succumbed before they were taken there.
Momin had another daughter named Swarna. Both Swarna and Sanjida were students of Shreedharpur Women Madrasa, locals said.
SM Alamgir Hossain, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shreenagar Police Station, confirmed the news.
