Minor girl killed in Ctg road accident

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: A minor girl was killed and injured her mother in a road accident in Kadamrosul area under Sitakunda upazila of the district yesterday night.
The deceased was identified as Priya, (4).
Confirming the matter, Sitakunda highway police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ahsan Habib said a woman and her four-year-old daughter went to Dhaka-Chattogram highway to buy a bus ticket around 10:30pm. Meanwhile, a speedy truck ran over them, leaving the girl dead on the spot and injured the mother.
Later, the mother was sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver and helper of the truck fled the scene after the accident.
