Morocco relief goods for Rohingyas arrive in Ctg

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Relief materials sent by Morocco government for Rohingya people fled to Bangladesh from Myanmar arrived in Chittagong on Thursday.

A flight of Morocco Airways carrying 14 tons of relief goods landed at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong at the noon, according to the airport manager wing commander Riazul Karim.

The relief materials include 1000 pieces blankets, 70 pieces tents, 500 pieces of medicine, two tons of milk powder, four tons of rice and a ton mattress.

Chittagong Deputy Commissioner (DC) Zillur Rahman Chowdhury and additional deputy commissioner (ADC-Education and ICT) Habibur Rahman received the goods on behalf of Bangladesh government, said Riazul Karim.
