Mother, daughter found dead in Chattogram

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Police recovered the bodies of a woman and her daughter from their residence in Gayebi Masjid area of Pathantuli under Double Mooring Thana in the port city on Tuesday noon.

The deceased were identified as Hosne Ara Begum, 50, and her daughter Parvin, 18.

Confirming the matter, Mohiuddin Selim, officer-in-charge of Double Mooring Police Station said, "We recovered the two bodies getting information from locals.

A team of top officials went to the spot. Police started investigation over the killing, he added.
