Mother, son electrocuted in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: A woman and her son were electrocuted at Bakultala village under Sreepur upazila in the district early Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Selina Akhter, 30, wife of Anwar Hossain of the village, and her son Selim Hossain, 15.
According to sources, Selim Hossain came in contact while he was charging a battery-run auto-rickshaw. Later, Selina Akhter rushed to save Selim.
They were taken to Sreepur Upazila Health Complex where duty doctors declared them dead.
