Motorcyclist killed in Bagerhat road crash

Bagerhat Correspondent: A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident on the Bagerhat-Khulna Regional highway in Khazura area under Fakirhat upazila of the district on Monday evening.

The deceased was identified as Jhantu Roy, 38, son of late Monindronath.

Katakhali highway police outpost SI Rezaul Karim said that a speedy truck rammed him from backside when the victim was heading towards Khulna from Bagerhat riding a motorbike, leaving him dead on the spot.

Later, on information police recovered the body and took it to the highway police station.
