Netrokona road crash kills 2

Netrokona Correspondent: At least two people were killed and three others injured in a road accident as a passenger bus hit a CNG run auto-rickshaw in Chakpara area under Kendua upazila of the district on Monday morning.

Of the deceased one was identified as Anju Mia, 48, hailed from Pachhar village of the upazila.

Local and police sources said that a Netrokona-bound passenger bus rammed the auto-rickshaw in the area around 7:30am, leaving the two people dead on the spot and injured three others.

Later, the injured three people were sent to Kendua Upazila Health Complex and Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

Kendua police station Officer-in-Charge Sirajul Islam said the bodies were sent to Netrokona Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
