New platform inaugurated at Subdarpur Railway Station

Jhenaidah correspondent: Railway Minister Mujibul Haque has inaugurated the newly constructed platform shade and high level platform at Subdarpur Railway Station under the district’s Kotchandpur.

He inaugurated the platforms at around 11:30 pm on Tuesday.

The minister said, after Sheikh Hasina came to power, she formed the first Railway Ministry. Since then, there has been a massive development in the  railway sector. The people of the country are now getting passenger services after the development of railway.

He said that during the BNP rule, the allocation was Tk 500 crore. After we came to power, at present we allocated Tk 11 thousand crore for the railways.
