N'ganj trawler capsize: 4 more bodies recovered

Staff Correspondent: Four more bodies were recovered from the River Meghna in Sonargaon upazila of the district on Sunday.

With recovery of four more bodies from the River the death toll in Thursday's trawler capsize in the area reached 15.

Confirming the matter, Narayanganj deputy commissioner Rabbi Mia said that a total of 15 bodies were recovered and two more still missing.

The district administration has donated Taka 20,000 to each of the victim families, he added.

A trawler carrying about 90 passengers capsized in the Meghna near Char Kishoreganj under Sonargaon upazila on Thursday afternoon.
