'No rally on roads in name of distributing relief'

Noakhali Correspondent: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said not to create public sufferings blocking roads in the name of relief distributing to Rohingya people.

The minister made the assertion while addressing a programme organized by School Education Quality Assurance Program(SEQAP) of Education Ministry at Kompaniganj in Noakhali on Thursday.

He said, "Don't create public sufferings organizing rally, procession on Dhaka-Cox's Bazar road in the name of distributing relief goods to Rohingya people."

Obaidul Quader also said, "BNP men forgot Rohingya issue when Khaleda Zia stayed at London. They sometimes distributed relief to join photo session."

"They are now set to distribute relief goods to Rohingyas after returning Khaleda Zia. Politics is behind their new move," he added.

Meanwhile, he urged BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia not to create public sufferings distributing relief goods in key points on the way of Chittagong from Dhaka.
