Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: An old woman was beaten and stabbed to death at Boalia village under Barshato union of Anwara upazila on Wednesday morning.
The victim was identified as Sokina Khatun (70).
According to police, Sokina was beaten and stabbed to death by her neighbours over falling water from a roof.
Three people have also been injured in the incident, and they have been admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
