One killed in Jashore ‘gunfight’

Staff Correspondent, Jashore: A young man named Billu Parvez was killed in a ‘gunfight’ between two groups of terrorists in Shankarpur Bablatala area of of Jashore town early Friday.

Police recovered one shutter gun and one round of bullet from the spot.

Jashore Kotwali Police Station Sub-Inspector Sobhan Sharif said that on the basis of secret information they came to know that a ‘gunfight’ took place between two groups of terrorists. After that a team of police went there. Before reaching there, the terrorists fled from the spot.  Later, an unidentified body of a young man was rescued and sent it to Jessore General Hospital morgue.
