Staff Correspondent, Jessore: Police have cordoned off a house at Birampur-Pagladah village in Jessore Sadar upazila, suspecting the house as a militant hideout.
Initially, it could not be known whether there is anybody inside the house.
Police suspect that militants are staying inside the house.
Police members, led by Superintendent of Police Anisur Rahman of Jessore, are currently on the spot.
Six to seven teams involving police members of Bogra detective branch, members of police headquarters, members from Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) and bomb disposal unit have surrounded the house on suspicion of a militant den, said the superintendent of police.
The house is owned by one Mozaffar Hossain in the area.
