RAB cordon off three houses in C'nawabganj

Chapainawabganj Correspondent: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have cordoned off three house in suspect of being militant den at Chanpur Shimultola and Balugram area under the district's Gomostapur upazila.

RAB members surrounded the houses since early Wednesday.

Law enforcers have already started drive inside a house.

Enamul Karim, captain of Chapanawabganj RAB-5, confirmed the news.

He said three people were arrested from Bazarparha area of Gomostapur upazila on Tuesday night. Three kilograms of gunpowder, a pistol and four rounds of bullets were seized from their possessions.

Later, on the basis of information they provided, the three houses were cordoned off on suspicion of being militant dens, he added.
