Rajshahi road crash kills 1

Staff Correspondent: A truck helper was killed and 15 others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Rajshahi highway at Puthia upazila in Rajshahi on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Rabbi Hossain, 24, son of Abdul Jalil.

Sources said that a Dhaka-bound passenger bus collided with a truck from opposite direction in the area around 11:00am, leaving the truck helper dead on the spot and injured 15 others.

Later, the injured were sent Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.

Puthia police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Hafizur Rahman confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
