Staff Correspondent, Rajshahi: At least two people were killed in separate road accidents in Puthiya of Rajshahi on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Kutub Ali, 32, hailed from Muktarpur village and Omar Ali, 37, hailed from Charkapashiya village of Belpurku thana.
Paba highway police outpost in-charge Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the matter.
He said, a bus, a truck and a microbus collided head-on in Kalahat of Baneshwar this morning, leaving Kutub Ali dead on the spot.
Besides, a speedy truck rammed a motorcycle in Pollapukur area, leaving petal trader Omar Ali dead.
The bodies were sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, police said.
