Road crash kills 2 in Khulna

Staff Correspondent: At least two people including a college student have been killed in a collision between a bus and easy bike in the district.

The accident took place around 10.30am on Saturday in Rajbad area of Khulna-Satkhira highway.

The deceased were identified as Amit Sarkar (18), HSC first year student of Shaheed Sheikh Abul Kashem College, and Rabiul Islam (25), easy bike driver.
Amit Sarkar was the son of Ameo Ranjan Sarkar, teacher of Shaheed Smiriti Women College of Dumoria.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Horintana Thana Sardar Mosharrof Hossain said a Satkhira-bound bus collided head-on with an easy bike, leaving the easy driver dead on the spot. Amit was taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital where he died later.
