Robber held with firearms in Sirajganj

Sirajganj Correspondent: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged robber with a foreign made pistol and one round of bullet from Konabari under Kamarkhanda upazila of the district.

The detainee is identified as Korban Ali, son of Nur Mohammad.

RAB-12 commander DIG Sakibul Islam Khan on Sunday noon said that acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB arrested him from his residence in the area on early Sunday. Meanwhile, a mobile phone, Tk10,000 and a pistol were recovered from his possession.

The detainee was wanted in 16 cases including robbery, women reparation and snatching.
