‘Robber’ killed in Pabna ‘gunfight’

Pabna Correspondent: A suspected robber was killed in a ‘gunfight’ with police in Sara Jhaudia area of Ishwardi upazila early Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Hafizur Rahman Titas, 38, son of Aziz Mollah at Basher Bada village.

According to police, a team of police conducted a drive in the area to catch members of a robber gang. The robbers opened fire as soon as police reached the place, triggering a gunfight.

Titash was rescued from the spot with bullet injury, and he was taken to Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex where doctors pronounced him dead.
