But Kamal Uddin, deputy director of the passport office, smelt a rat after sensing her language and verifying documents concerned. Later, he informed the matter to the city’s airport police station. Being informed, police rushed to the spot and held the woman.

Though the Rohingya woman was held and sent to jail through the court, but broker Jalal was freed mysteriously.

He said, “The Rohingya woman reached Barisal by launch with help of broker on Saturday night. Acting on a tip off, police held her as she attempted to issue passport for her with fake identity. She was sent to jail through court.”
