Schoolgirl dies mysteriously in Narayanganj

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: A schoolgirl died mysteriously at her residence in Fatullah of the district on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Monalisa, daughter of Shahin Bepari, a student of class six in Hazi Uzir Ali.

Family sources said that the family members of the school girl went to Madhabdi area of Narsingdi on Friday morning keeping her in residence. Later, neighbors phoned her parents that a youth entered into the residence. Returning home, Monalisa's parents found the girl hanging from ceiling.

Later, she was rushed to hospital where duty doctor declared her dead.

Sub-Inspector Rafayet Uddin Raktim of Fatulla Model police station said it is a mysterious incident. Nothing can be said without autopsy report.
