Show evidences of clash, vote rigging: CEC to Journos

Staff Correspondent: Pointing to journalists, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC)Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad on Tuesday challenged saying, "Show us the evidences of clashes and vote rigging incidents during the polls."

The CEC made the comment while responding to journalists during his visit to separate voting centres in the city polls in the capital.

Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad, however, refused to comment on any other questions of the journalists when they pointed that separate incidents of clashes and anarchies happened in three city corporations`polls.

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has boycotted the polls in three city corporations terming it a meaningless election.
