Six injured in AL infighting in Pabna

Pabna Correspondent: Six people were injured in a clash between two rival groups of local Awami League (AL) at Atghoria upazila of the district on Saturday noon. Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif Dilu was present there during the incident.

The incident took place between the groups of Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif Dilu and municipal mayor Shahidul Islam Ratan.

According to locals, a long dispute has been prevailing there between the two groups over establishing supremacy in the area.

Anowarul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Atghoria Police Station, confirmed the news.
