Six pirates held in Sirajganj

Sirajganj Correspondent: Six pirates were detained while attempting to carry out robbery at Shimla Char area in Sirajganj Sadar upazila and handed over to police after giving a good beating to them.
The local people detained the pirates along with boats from river Jamuna on Saturday night and handed over them to police on Sunday morning.
The detainees are Halim 24, Tusar, 20, Belal, 24, Sohag, 20, Shadat, 25 and Roni, 24.
Among the detained, Roni and Shahadat injured in the mom beating were admitted to Sirajganj Sadar hospital.
Torikul Islam, sub-inspector (SI) of Sirajganj Sadar Police Station, confirmed the incident.
