Slain militant Abdullah's wife arrested in Jhenidah

Jhenidah Correspondent: Police arrested a Neo-JMB member from Mahishakunda area of the district's sadar upazila early Tuesday.

The arrestee, Rubina Parvin, 28, is wife of militant Abdullah who was killed in an operation at Khalishpur hideout of the district's Maheshpur upazila on May 7 this year.

Abdullah was resident of Dhan Hariya Chuadanga village of the district sadar upazila.
 

Emdadul Haque Sheikh, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jhenidah Sadar Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said Rubina went in hiding since her husband was killed in operation. Acting on a tip off, she was arrested from the home of one Elahi Baksh of Mahishakunda village under of the district town.
