Smartphone banned at Kushtia govt women college

Kushtia Correspondent: The authorities of Kushtia government women college have imposed a ban on using smartphone during college sessions on the campus.

The authorities issued the ban on Wednesday morning which created mix reactions among the students.

Some students on condition of anonymity said, “They do not use mobile phone during class. So, there is no problem if they use mobile on the campus. Many of the female students come to the college from outside of the town. They need mobile phone. But the authorities imposed ban on using it.”

When asked, principal of the college Shafiqur Rahman said, “Many of the students use mobile phone during class. Mobile phone has been banned on the campus for the sake of improving their education.”
