Terrorist held with fire arms in Tangail

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: Police detained a terrorist with fire arms and 400 bottles of phensidyl from Chairman Bari area of municipality in the district early Saturday.

The detainee is identified as Md. Rasel, 29, son of late Khorshed Alam.

Ghatail police station officer-in-charge Maksudul Alam said acting on a secret information, police conducted a drive in the area and arrested the identified criminal Rasel with fire arms and drugs.

Meanwhile, US made a pistol, 60 rounds of bullets, a revolver, three magazines and 400 bottles of phensidyl from the spot.
