Three coast guards killed in Barguna road crash

Barguna Correspondent: Three members of Bangladesh Coast Guard were killed as a bus hit their motorbike on head at Bandra area of the district's Amtoli upazila on Friday noon.

The deceased were identified as Fuad Hossain, Abdus Sadek and Enamul Haque.

Shahidullah, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Amtoli Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said a bus named Allahardan Paribahan hit the opposite-head motorbike while the coast guard members were heading to Khepuparha on Friday noon, leaving two of them killed at the spot. Another succumbed at Khepuparha Health Complex while undergoing treatment.

"The bodies were sent to morgue for autopsy and the bus was seized," he added.

Lodging case in this connection was under process while the report was filed around 7:15pm, the OC said.
