Trader killed in Jessore road accident

Staff Correspondent, Jessore: A trader named Hasan Ali was killed in a road accident in Jessore on Tuesday morning.
He was killed as a truck ran over him on Jessore-Khulna Highway in Rajarhat area.
The deceased was the son of Nisar Ali of Brahmandanga village under Manirampur upazila of the district.
Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ajmal Huda said that Hasan Ali came to Rajarhat Bazar in the business purpose at around 10.00am. A truck hit him while crossing the road and he died on the spot. Later, the locals seized the truck but the truck driver escaped.
The body was sent to Jessore's 250-bed hospital morgue for autopsy.
