Transport strike continues in Rangamati

Bandarban Correspondent: A dawn to dusk transports strike called by Rangamati Road and    Vessel Owners-Workers' Unity Council is being observed across the district on Sunday.

Though the organisation firstly announced to enforce an indefinite strike, it is currently observing from dawn to dusk as the district administration assured to take meet their demands.

The strike was called in protest of killing by regional terrorists, forced disappearance, abduction and extortion and demanding to stop these anarchies.

All kinds of transports-- locals and inter districts-- have disrupted due to the strike on all the routes.
