Truck kills cop in Bogra

Bogra Correspondent: A police constable was killed as a truck ran over him while crossing road at Mokamtola of the district's Shibganj upazila early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Shah Alam, 40, who was driver of Mokamtola police investigation centre.
Mizanur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mokamtola investigation centre, confirmed the news.
He said Shah Alam was returning home around 5:00am on Tuesday after duty. A truck ran him over while he was crossing the Mokamtola road, leaving him dead on the spot.
The body was kept at sadar hospital morgue, he added.
