Truck kills 2 motorcyclists in Tangail

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: Two motorcycle riders were killed as a truck ran over them at Adabari area of Kalihati upazila on Sunday noon.

The deceased were identified as Sattar, 17, son of Mokhlesur Rahman, hailed from Analiabari and Selim, 18, son of Dulal.

Kalihati police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mir Mosharraf Hossain riding a motorcycle, the two victims were heading towards Bhuiyanpur Bangabandhu Bridge area. But, brick laden a speedy truck rammed the bike in the area around 1:30pm, leaving them dead on the spot.

Later, police recovered the bodies.
