Truck plunge kills 2 in Jhenaidah

Jhenaidah Correspondent: Two people were killed as a truck plunged into a roadside ditch in Salabhora area on Jhenaidah-Jashore highway early Sunday.
The deceased were known as truck driver Jony Hossain and his assistant Jahid Hossain. Both the victims were hailed from Bheramara upazila of Kushtia.
Kaliganj police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Yunus Ali said, Kushtia bound truck plunged into roadside ditch when its drive lost control over the steering around 6:00am, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
Later, on information, fire servicemen rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
