Two crushed under train in Tangail

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: Two people were crushed to death under the wheels of a train in Dholatengor area under Kalihati upazila of the district on Friday morning.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sub-inspector of Bangabandhu Bridge (East) Police Station Nur-e-Alam said the two victims were walking on the railroad tracks around 7:00am. Meanwhile, Dhaka-bound a train hit them, leaving them dead on the spot.

Later, family members of the victims took away the bodies.
