Two fishermen die in Laxmipur boat capsize

Laxmipur Correspondent: Two fishermen died as the boat carrying them turned turtle and sank in the Meghna River while fishing at the district's Ramgati  on Monday midnight.

The deceased were identified as Bagon Ali, 15, son of Harun of Balurchar of the upazila, Nur Nabi 42, a resident of the same area.

Locals recovered their bodies from the river on Tuesday noon.

Another fisherman, Md Helal, 32, has been missing in the incident. His details identity could not be known immediately.

Main Uddin, Sub-Inspector (SI) Ramgati Police Station, confirmed the news.
