Two killed in Jhenidah 'gunfight'

Jhenidah Correspondent: Two people were killed in 'gunfight' with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Nagortola village of the district's Kotchandpur area on Tuesday night.
The deceased were identified as Maidul Islam Rana, 38, regional leader of East Bengal Communist Party and son of late Fakir Chand of Bakshipur village of the upazila and his associate Alim Uddin, 35, son Soleman Mondal of Bolramur village.
Law enforcers also seized two guns, a pistol, 15 rounds of bullets and a machete from the spot.
Three members of RAB were also injured in the incident.
