Two killed in motorcycle accident in Tangail

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: Two friends have been killed while they were in a motorcycle race in Madhupur upazila of Tangail.
The incident took place in Telki area of the upazila around 12:30pm on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Sohag, son of Mojnu Mia and Himel, son of Liakat Ali.
Madhupur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Shafiqul Islam said some youths got involved in a motorcycle race in the Telki area of the upazila while they were returning from Mymensingh. At one stage of the race, a wheel skidded off the motorcycle, leaving Sohag dead on the spot and another pillion injured critically.
Critically injured Himel was first taken to Tangail Medical College Hospital but he died on the way to Dhaka.
