Two militants held in Tangail

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: RAB has detained two militants in a drive at a house in Mosinda area of Kalihati upazila under Tangail district.

They were detained at around 3.00pm on Monday. At that time, huge quantity of explosives, jihadi books and locals weapons were recovered from the house.

The detainees are - the owner of the house Abul Hossain Chisti's son Masum (30) and Khokan (25).

RAB-12 captain Selim Mohammad Jahangir said militants were staying at Abul Hossain Chisti's house in Mosinda area of Kalihati upazila. A team of Tangail RAB-12 surrounded the house on Monday night. Later, two people were arrested from the house at around 3.00pm. Based on the information given by the detainees, RAB members are conducting an operation at a house in the capital’s Mirpur area.
