Two minors drowned in Gopalganj

Gopalganj Correspondent: Two school kids have drowned in a pond in Uttarpar village of Kotalipara upazila of the district.
The deceased have been identified as Limi Roy, 7, daughter of Liton Roy and Audri Sarkar, 6, daughter of Ashok Sarkar of the village. The two victims were student of Uttarpar government primary school.
Sonia Aktar, school teacher of the school said the two went back to their home to get pencils and went missing. Later, their bodies were found floating in the roadside pond.
It’s being assumed that duo slipped into the pond and drowned.
Kotalipara police station officer-in-charge Mohammad Kamrul Faruk confirmed the matter.
