Two robber suspects lynched in Brahmanbaria

Brahmanbaria Correspondent: Two suspected robbers were lynched to death at Hariyaboho on Chandidwar-Joynagar road of Gopinathpur union under the district's Kasba upazila on Monday night.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Local sources said a gang of some eight to 10 robbers were committing robbery at vehicles at Hariyaboho at the night. Locals rushed them as  people of the vehicles shout for helps. Though other cohorts managed to flee the scene, the duo were caught by locals. Later, they were lynched to death. Being informed, police rushed the spot and recovered the bodies. Several of lethal weapons which were used by the robber gang were seized from the spot.

Mohammad Mohiuddin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kasba Police Station, confirmed the news.
