Two teen girls of ethnic minority found dead

Staff Correspondent, Chattorgam: Police recovered bodies of two teen age girls of ethnic minority at Jangal Mahadevpur hilly village under Sitakunda upazila in Chattogram on Friday night.
The deceased were known as Sukhlati Tripura, 15, daughter of Falin Trpura and Chhobi Rani Tripura, 12, daughter of Sumon Tripura.
Iftekhar Hassan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sitakunda Police Station, confirmed the news.
He said, “Being informed by locals, the hanging bodies were recovered from a same room. The cause of their death could not be known immediately.”
The bodies were sent to a morgue for autopsy, he added.
