Two women killed in Tangail road crash

Staff Correspondent: Two women were killed and another one injured when a microbus hit them in Nijbarni area under Dhanbari upazila in Tangail on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Ruba Begum, 32, wife of Babul Bakul, Sahatan, 50, wife of Abdul Majid.
Dhanbari police station officer-in-charge Majibar Rahman said that the women went out for a morning walk around 8:30am. Meanwhile, a speedy microbus rammed them from backside, leaving one dead on the spot and injured two others.
Later, the injured were rushed to Madhupur upazila health complex where another one died under treatment.
