Two youths arrested with Yaba-arms

Narsingdi Correspondent: Detectives arrested two youths with arms, bullets and Yaba tablets conducting a drive in Narsingdi town on Friday.

The arrestees were identified as Forkan Mia, 32, son of late Wali Ullah of Beerpur area of the town and Wahab Mia, 29, son of late Golam Kibria of Dhonairchar village of Polash upazila.

According to the District Detective Branch (DB), acting on a tip off, Forkan was arrested from the town's Beerpur CNG auto-ricksahw stand along with a foreign pistol, a rifle, five rounds of bullet and 27,000 pieces of Yaba tablets.

Later, Wahab along with a foreign made pistol and a round of bullet was arrested from Dhonairchar area on the basis of information provided by Forkan.
