Wall collapse kills 2 in Dinajpur

Staff Correspondent, Rangpur: Two people including a householder were killed in a wall collapse in Ghoraghat upazila of the district on Wednesday noon.

The incident took place at Noorpur area in Singra union of the upazila.

The deceased were identified as householder Abdul Kader and worker Delwar Hossain.

Local sources said the wall of an old house collapsed on householder Abdul Kader and worker Delwar Hossain when they were repairing the wall, leaving them dead on the spot.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ghoraghat Police Station Israil Hossain said it is an accident.

A decision will be taken after talking to both sides whether the bodies will be taken for autopsy, the OC added.
